Harsh truth:

Burnout has nothing to do with how many hours you work.

It’s caused by working for the wrong people,
toward the wrong goals,
in the wrong systems.

Here’s what actually causes burnout (and how to fix it):

1️⃣ Energy Mismanagement
↳ Your problem isn’t time—it’s energy allocation.
↳ Solution: Timeblock your highest-energy periods with your most important work.

2️⃣ Environment Vampires
↳ Toxic coworkers slowly deplete your mental energy reserves.
↳ Solution: Find and spend more time with people who give you energy. Stop spending time with people who drain it.

3️⃣ Misaligned Values
↳ When your work contradicts your core values, even small tasks drain you.
↳ Solution: Define your values (Ikigai is my recommendation). Only commit to work that aligns with them.

Bad systems create burnout,
while good systems prevent it.

Build systems that energize rather than deplete you.
